The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doo jabs Kuznetcov right on the nose. Kuznetcov blinks but takes it well.
We've been informed that Doo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Doo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Doo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kuznetcov sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kuznetcov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Doo momentarily.
Kuznetcov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Doo on the side of the head.
Kuznetcov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Doo missing with a left hand there. Kuznetcov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Doo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Kuznetcov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Doo.
Kuznetcov shoots in for a takedown but Doo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Doo swings for the body but Kuznetcov moves out of range.

Doo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Kuznetcov counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Doo!
Doo is looking to get back to his feet here but Kuznetcov is keeping cool and he's managed to take Doo's back.
