The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raegarewvraev changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thugbert looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Thugbert is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Raegarewvraev has eaten all the pies!
Raegarewvraev wants to take a breather but Thugbert is having none of it.
Raegarewvraev is trying to work for a kimura but Thugbert is defending well.
Raegarewvraev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thugbert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raegarewvraev wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Thugbert uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Thugbert manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Raegarewvraev manages to get himself to full guard.
Thugbert tries to free his leg and advance position but Raegarewvraev is retaining full guard.

Raegarewvraev is looking to pass into half guard but Thugbert pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Thugbert is in guard.

Thugbert jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Raegarewvraev manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thugbert gets to mount! Raegarewvraev was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Raegarewvraev tries to improve his position but Thugbert has taken his back! Thugbert has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Raegarewvraev tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Thugbert pushes Raegarewvraev away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
