Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Lius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Humberto Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Humberto Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lius throws a poor cross that misses
and Lius takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Pete Lius has been cut.
Lius fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. Lius is now in Silva's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lius passes into half guard.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lius. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

After the fight, Pete Lius was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
