And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Elijah Myers!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Myers tries to keep at a distance but Gilmore has taken the fight into the clinch.

Gilmore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Myers moves into the clinch.

Myers rushes Gilmore and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Gilmore tries to clinch up but Myers circles away and keeps his distance.
Gilmore throws a hook to the side of Myers's head but Myers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Myers gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Gilmore breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gilmore definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Myers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Myers counters with a three punch combo that has Gilmore backing up. Gilmore nods at Myers to acknowledge the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gilmore tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Myers paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Myers cracks Gilmore with an open hand slap.
Myers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gilmore.
Myers plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Gilmore to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Gilmore just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
