Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Xeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xeon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Morris sneaks out the side door and pushes Xeon away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Xeon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Morris moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Morris has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Xeon is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Xeon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Morris uses from the top position.
Xeon wants to stand up but Morris is controlling him.

Morris is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Xeon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Xeon has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morris regains full guard. Nicely done.

Morris is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Xeon presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Morris ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Morris no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Xeon decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Morris, up you get!
Xeon is looking to clinch but Morris is avoiding it.
Morris tries to counter with a takedown but Xeon is quick to defend against it.

Xeon moves into range and clinches up with Morris.
Morris jumps guard but Xeon turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Morris is breathing heavily.
Xeon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Morris pushes Xeon off and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Xeon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Xeon lands in his opponent's guard.
Xeon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Morris tries to pull guard but Xeon holds him up against the cage and eventually Morris drops back down to his feet.

Xeon is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Morris gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Morris tries to bench press Xeon off him but Xeon keeps the position.

Xeon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Morris is not content to let Xeon control the position.
Morris wants to control but Xeon is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Xeon decides to return to a standing position.
Morris tries to clinch but Xeon is having none of it.
Morris shoots for a double leg takedown but Xeon sprawls well. He's pushed Morris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Xeon dives in and scores a takedown into Morris's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Xeon looking to sit in guard and control but Morris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Morris postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Xeon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morris, into his guard.

Xeon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Xavier Xeon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Morris misses with a takedown attempt - Xeon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Morris shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xeon pinned against the cage. Xeon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Morris goes for a double leg but Xeon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Xeon continues to drive forward.

Morris is pushing Xeon's head away, looking to escape. Xeon manages to hold on to the position though.

Xeon is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Morris will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Xeon scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Morris is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Xeon can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
