PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wang Qiang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Locker Arm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Locker Arm was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arm closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Arm fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Qiang to the ground. Arm is now in Qiang's guard.
Qiang wants to get back to his feet but Arm passes into half guard.

Qiang pushes Arm off looking to stand but Arm dives back in and keeps control.
Arm throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Arm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Qiang is looking to escape.
Arm wants to pass the guard but Qiang is defending well.
Arm stops Qiang from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arm not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Qiang wants to get back to his feet.

Arm tries to pass to full mount but Qiang defends it.
Arm keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Arm working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Qiang won't allow Arm to pass to mount.

Arm is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Qiang defends it well.
Arm is looking to take a break and control but Qiang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Qiang lands with an overhand left.

Arm drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Qiang scores with a hook.

Arm is rocked!
Crack! Qiang connects with the perfect overhand right and Arm falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Qiang!
