Hanagan comes into the arena with Cro Mags - We Gotta Know blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've been hearing reports that Hanagan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hanagan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Johnson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hanagan yanks on the arm and Johnson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hanagan.
