Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Von Cranial!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John looks to score with a jab to the body but Cranial is just out of range.
John displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cranial throws out the jab.
Cranial takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A big right from Cranial misses.
John lands a nice hook to Cranial's body. Cranial takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
John thuds his shin into the meat of Cranial's side.
John chopping away at his opponent's legs.
John shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
John pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cranial misses with a looping right.
John definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cranial punishes John's body with a nice straight punch.
Cranial rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but John moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from John.
John looks to throw the jab but Cranial is out of range.

John throws a wild body kick that Cranial sees coming a mile off.

No joy there for John, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
John lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cranial's sensitive parts.
Cranial needs to keep his hands up - John had a free shot at his head there.
Cranial throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A jab from John finds it's way through Cranial's defenses.
Cranial misses the shot to the body.
Cranial connects with a jab.
Cranial showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from John.
John walks into a jab.

John scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

John scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cranial doesn't seem bothered though.
Cranial ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
John throws a jab but it's blocked by Cranial.
Cranial connects with a jab.
John avoids the body shot from Cranial.
Cranial works the jab nicely.
Cranial keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cranial stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from John.
John throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Cranial sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cranial takes one to the side of the head.
John cracks Cranial with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Oooooh!!! Cranial has knocked John down with a huge combo! Cranial steps away and waves a wobbly John back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
John throws a body punch but Cranial moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Cranial on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cranial throws an overhand right that lands on John's shoulder, as John tries to avoid the shot.
John is looking to counter punch.
John misses with a double jab.
John lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
John closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Cranial moves out of range of the body kick from John.
John scores with a leg kick.
John avoids the body shot from Cranial.
A solid leg kick lands there for John.
Cranial catches John with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

John is rocked!
Cranial closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks John out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

In his post fight interview, Von Cranial started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
