Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Werdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinsuke Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakamura has chosen Rising Sun as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinsuke Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The fighters circling - Werdum throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nakamura takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Werdum feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nakamuras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Shinsuke Nakamura has been cut.
Nakamura avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Nakamura gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Werdum fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Werdum gets control of Nakamura's arms and successfully pulls guard. Werdum will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Nakamura won't allow Werdum to sweep him here.

Werdum definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Werdum wants to get back to his feet.
Werdum can't do much from the bottom here.
Nakamura lands an elbow.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Nakamura really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Werdum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nakamura has an Americana. Werdum didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nakamura is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nakamura hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
