Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Hendo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitsuo Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mitsuo Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yoshida doesn't seem bothered though.
Yoshida misses with a right hand
and Hendo counters with a nice body shot.
Hendo misses with a few strikes there.
A little jabbing left from Yoshida on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Yoshida throws a hook but Hendo blocks it.
Yoshida's coach down at The Island Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yoshida's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Hendo lands a lovely overhand right.
Yoshida gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hendo.
Hendo misses with a double jab.
Hendo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hendo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Yoshida has time to react.
Hendo misses with a wild body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hendo. Yoshida does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yoshida scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hendo in his tracks.
Hendo lands an overhand right.

Hendo takes the fight into the clinch.
Yoshida blocking some punches.
Hendo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
A body shot lands from Hendo.

Yoshida breaks from the clinch.
Hendo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Yoshida in his tracks.
Hendo scores with a nice head shot.
Hendo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hendo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Yoshida throws a looping overhand right but Hendo ducks down to avoid it.
Hendo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yoshida. Yoshida circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Hendo gets a clinch.

Yoshida has had enough of the clinch but Hendo keeps him there for the moment.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Yoshida tries to circle away but Hendo has him pinned against the cage.

Hendo prevents Yoshida from breaking the clinch.

Yoshida escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hendo throws a monster overhand right that drops Yoshida! Hendo follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
