The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHough moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
McHough connects with a nice looking jab.
Bell with a poor takedown
and McHough counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dominique Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McHough tries to bum rush Bell with a series of wild strikes but Bell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McHough has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Area51 in the buildup to the fight.
Bell shoots and misses
and McHough cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ben McHough has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominique Bell.
Bell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bell drops his hands momentarily and McHough takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McHough avoids it really well and circles away.

Bell takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Bell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McHough sprawls well. McHough wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bell gets slowly back to his feet.
McHough thinks about countering with a body kick.
Bell misses with a body punch
and McHough counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Bell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McHough looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bell tries to advance to mount but McHough denies him.
The strikes coming from Bell are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
McHough prevents Bell from improving position.

Bell tries for a kimura but McHough is defending well.
McHough is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
McHough might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bell wants to lay and pray for a moment but McHough keeps working.

Bell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McHough is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bell looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Bell wants to control but McHough is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bell has hold of McHough's arm. He's looking for a kimura. McHough seems comfortable defending it but Bell has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! McHough is real pain and he's forced to tap out! McHough is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bell couldn't care less - he's delighted!
