Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Marvin Vettori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kok Su Hung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vettori's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mortal Kombat. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vettori bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hung's head.
Vettori walks into a jab.
Hung misses with a head kick.
Vettori throws a jab when Hung was well out of range.
Vettori moves away from the strike by Hung.
Vettori throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hung takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hung connects with a right hand. Vettori shakes it off.
Hung lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hung thuds his right hand into Vettori's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Vettori ducks under a wild hook from Hung.

Kok Su Hung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vettori throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hung sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Despite the aggression on Hung's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Hung checks a leg kick nicely.
Vettori throws a sloppy head kick and Hung moves out of range easily.
Hung scores with a jab to the head.
Hung ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vettori moves away.
Hung slips a jab from Vettori.

Hung has closed the distance and engaged Vettori in a clinch.

Hung escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vettori connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hung momentarily.
Hung smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hung throws a low kick, looking for Vettori's leg but Vettori calmly moves out of range.
Vettori is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Hung tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hung connects with the punch.
Vettori fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vettori cracks Hung with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Vettori gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hung is trying to break free.
Vettori keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hung's efforts to push away.
Hung is trying to force a seperation but Vettori has the dominant position.

Hung wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vettori has him pressed against the ropes.
Hung blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Vettori pushes Hung back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Vettori lands a hook that snaps the head of Hung backwards.
Hung's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Hung breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vettori throws a looping overhand right but Hung ducks down to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hung fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vettori on the side of the head.
Hung tries a head kick but it misses.
Vettori half committed to a counter leg kick.

Hung's corner calls for a 1-2. Hung obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kok Su Hung dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
