Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jyrki Kasvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph McGuire Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire Jr is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tom Petty - I Won't Back Down. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasvi tries to clinch there but McGuire Jr circles away.

McGuire Jr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kasvi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

My spies in River's Edge Gym inform me that McGuire Jr has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

McGuire Jr is trying to drag Kasvi to the mat but Kasvi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kasvi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McGuire Jr finds it's way round the side to connect with Kasvi's head.

McGuire Jr fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kasvi to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kasvi looks to clinch but McGuire Jr throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kasvi taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ralph McGuire Jr really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
