Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borys Grabowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Henry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Borys Grabowski!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Henry misses the target.
Henry on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Henry throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Henry looks to land a left hand but Grabowski moved out of range nicely.
Henry has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Henry or perhaps it was just good defense by Grabowski, which made it look bad.
Henry chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Grabowski can pounce on him.
Henry scores with a sloppy right hand. Grabowski should have avoided that one.

Henry closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Still in half guard, Henry seems content to control.

The crowd cheers as Grabowski lands an impressive looking overhand right. Henry doesn't seem phased though.
Grabowski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Henry has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Henry dives in and scores a takedown into Grabowski's guard.
Grabowski is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Henry dives into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Henry wants to control but Grabowski is keeping him busy.

Henry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

And Henry counters with a quick kick to the body but Grabowski blocks it.
Grabowski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Henry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Grabowski controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Henry wants to sweep but no luck.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Grabowski misses with a wild body shot.
Henry swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Henry fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Grabowski scores with the left hand. Henry knows he should have avoided that one.
Grabowski lands a jab to Henry's midsection.
Henry slips a jab from Grabowski.
Left hook, right uppercut from Grabowski.
Grabowski smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Henry dives in for a single leg takedown but Grabowski sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It seemed like Grabowski was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Grabowski throws a hook to the side of Henry's head but Henry sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Henry shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Henry was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Henry postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Grabowski looks a forlorn figure.
Henry misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Henry is landing with some decent strikes but Grabowski is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

John Henry showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Henry, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
