Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eugeniy Petrov!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Petrov manages to avoid it.
Petrov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baker as he jumps to the side.
Petrov throws a lazy right hand but Baker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Petrov jabs Baker right on the nose. Baker blinks but takes it well.
Baker keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Baker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Petrov.
Petrov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Petrov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baker but Baker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Petrov looks to land a right hand but Baker moved out of range.
Baker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Petrov.
Petrov lands a jab to the head.
Baker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Petrov.
Petrov walks into a left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baker scores with a jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Baker as he connects with a hook.

Petrov lands a jab to the head.
Nice sprawl there from Baker as Petrov shoots in.
George Baker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eugeniy Petrov.
Baker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Petrov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Petrov throws a hook but Baker blocks it.
Baker is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Baker lands with a straight right. Petrov didn't see that one coming.

Petrov is rocked!
Baker is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Petrov flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Petrov is out cold! Baker holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

After winning the bout, George Baker thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
