The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
me stuffs the takedown.
Hanson shoots for a takedown but me saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hanson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hanson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Hanson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? me is fending him off so far but Hanson persists. Nope, me circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

me shoots for a double leg takedown but Hanson sprawls well. He's pushed me's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
me shoots in looking for a takedown. Hanson tries to sprawl out of it but me keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hanson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
