Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hung White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jez Beltran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hung White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jez Beltran!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Beltran postures up in White's guard and throws a big left but White blocks it.
Beltran showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
White looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beltran is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beltran is stalling in the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Beltran tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

White gets caught napping as Beltran dives in and scores a takedown. White manages to retain guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Beltran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Beltran postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Beltran trying to stand up but can't free himself from White's guard.
White being controlled here, momentarily.
Beltran tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Beltran trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
White tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

White gets tackled into the cage by Beltran. Beltran maintains the clinch.
White is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
White fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Beltran tightens his grip and picks White up, before dumping him to the ground. White manages to land in guard.
White controls Beltran momentarily but Beltran frees himself.
Beltran lands a couple of decent looking shots.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Beltran stays in close to White's body and controls the position.
Beltran's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Beltran connects with a couple of short punches.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Beltran cracks White with a solid left hand.

Beltran drops back, looking for a kneebar! White looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. White looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from White!

Beltran is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jez Beltran dominated that round.
That's time! White's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



The fight moves into the clinch position.

Beltran wants the takedown. White is fighting it off but Beltran persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in White's guard against the cage.
Beltran postures up.
Beltran trying to stand up but can't free himself from White's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White keeping full guard, as Beltran tries to pass.
Beltran is looking to stand up but White won't let him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beltran landing some decent shots from guard.
Beltran controlling from the top position.
Beltran lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Beltran trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
White tries to strike from the bottom.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
White has momentary wrist control but Beltran slips an elbow through the middle.


White is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Beltran content to stall in guard here.
Oh White is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beltran gets to his feet and stands over White, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! White felt that one! Beltran unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save White from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jez Beltran!
