The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyagushov is looking to clinch.

Lyagushov wants to clinch up but McPunchface keeps it at a distance.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, McPunchface creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

McPunchface is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lyagushov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip McPunchface to the mat. McPunchface regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lyagushov is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
