The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shtirko shoots for a double leg takedown but Eduardo sprawls well. He's pushed Shtirko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It seemed like Eduardo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Eduardo jabs at Shtirko's body.
Eduardo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sloppy strikes from Shtirko. Those never looked like landing.
Shtirko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Eduardo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Eduardo dips to his left and cracks Shtirko with an uppercut!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shtirko avoids the body shot from Eduardo.
As Eduardo looks to move away, Shtirko throws a big counter combo but Eduardo just gets out of the way.
Eduardo cracks Shtirko with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Eduardo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Eduardo lands with a straight right. Shtirko didn't see that one coming.

Eduardo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Shtirko on the side of the head.

Shtirko is rocked!
Eduardo connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Shtirko to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Eduardo!
