The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dong closes the distance and clinches.
Dong is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sweeney is keeping busy.
Dong using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Sweeney tries to pull guard but Dong forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Sweeney jumps guard but Dong turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Sweeney stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Dong gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Sweeney makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sweeney.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sweeney wants to stand and escape but Dong is having none of it.
Sweeney will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sweeney is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Dong frees his head nicely. Oh but Sweeney has switched to an armbar! Dong is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
