Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 39 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby TupperII!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Martin!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TupperII shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Martin sprawls well. Martin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. TupperII gets slowly back to his feet.
TupperII throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martin's waist but Martin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing TupperII off to one side.
TupperII misses with a takedown attempt - Martin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby TupperII. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Martin throws a one two combo.


It looks like Bobby TupperII has been cut.
TupperII tries to clinch up but Martin circles away and keeps his distance.
TupperII will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
TupperII fails to land the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Martin clinches.
Martin gets underhooks to prevent TupperII's takedown attempt.
Martin putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has TupperII in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
TupperII throws an elbow but it misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin lands a shoulder strike.
Martin scores with a shot to the side of TupperII's head.
Martin unloads a knee to the mid-section.
TupperII is breathing heavily.
Martin blocks an elbow strike from TupperII.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Martin.
Martin lands a knee to the head.
Martin lands a body shot in the clinch.
Martin landing knees to the head.
Martin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Martin lands a nice uppercut.
Martin connects with a knee to the head.

Martin drops TupperII with a big knee straight up the middle! TupperII is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


TupperII is rocked!
Frank Martin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A head kick by Martin - that's a beauty! TupperII is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Martin can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Frank Martin!
Frank Martin decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
