Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baraka Simengwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simengwa has chosen Afande Sele feat Ditto - Darubini kali as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 31 - 0, fighting out of London, Baraka Simengwa!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Simengwa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A big right from Simengwa misses.
Freeman throws a body punch but Simengwa moves out of range.
Simengwa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Simengwa pushes Freeman up against the cage in a clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Simengwa.
Freeman's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Freeman is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Freeman prevents a body shot from Simengwa.

Freeman wants to control from the top but Simengwa keeps moving.

Simengwa has his foot on Freeman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Freeman works his way back into a safe position though.

Freeman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Simengwa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Freeman has managed to get both his arms back between Simengwa's legs - danger averted.
Freeman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simengwa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Simengwa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Freeman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Simengwa is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Freeman rolls with it to try and escape but Simengwa cranks on the arm and Freeman is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Baraka Simengwa decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
