Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kev Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wooten comes to the cage accompanied by Gods gonna cut you down- Johnny Cash. Kev Wooten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luiz Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Diaz.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Diaz! But no joy.
Wooten misses with a hook
and Diaz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Luiz Diaz has been cut.
Diaz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wooten to the mat! Wooten manages to get full guard.
Wooten manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Wooten throws a lazy right hand but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kev Wooten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Diaz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz has hold of Wooten's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Wooten tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Diaz cranks the arm and Wooten screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Wooten, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Luiz Diaz!
A relieved looking Luiz Diaz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Kev Wooten spoke after the fight, saying 'It's a fucking brutal sport mate, its humbling for sure, just gonna take some time off and train and just get better man, fuck this sucks. I tried my best though, thanks to everyone who came out to support me'.
