The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franco darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Franco landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Pena wants to get back to full guard.
Franco is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Pena is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pena tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Franco lands a nice short elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pena is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Franco pulls his head out easily.

Franco lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Pena! More strikes land and this one is all over! Franco jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
