The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grownstone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shlemenko, pushing him back against the cage.

and Grownstone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Grownstone clinches up against the cage.
Shlemenko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Grownstone smiles and moves away.
Grownstone throws a shot from downtown. Shlemenko moves away and avoids it.
Shlemenko moves out of range as Grownstone strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

In his post fight interview, Brad Grownstone started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
In defeat, Alex Shlemenko stepped up to the mic, saying 'Don't give a fuck and fight back'.
