These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yef Yew!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewandowski thows a leg kick but Yew checks it
and Lewandowski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lewandowski swings widly with a right hand
letting Yew counter with a right hand.
Yew misses with a looping left.
Yew misses with a right hand
and Lewandowski counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Yew thinking.
Lewandowski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Yew takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Yew slips under a jab.
Lewandowski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Yew throws a sloppy body shot
and Lewandowski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewandowski misses with a left hand
and Yew counters with a right hand to the body.
Lewandowski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yew sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Yew on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lewandowski ducks under a wild hook from Yew.
Yew lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lewandowski walks straight into a right hand from Yew - that's dropped him! Yew jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Lewandowski from any more punishment! Lewandowski complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Yef Yew!
Yef Yew decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
