The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishida takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Ishida closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Yagame bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ishida throws a series of punches but Yagame moves out of range.

Yagame throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ishida's head.
Ishida lands a nice looking body shot.
Ishida is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yagame.

Yagame connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ishida throws a right hand that Yagame ducks under and follows up with a left that Yagame also avoids with ease.
Yagame throws a series of punches but Ishida avoids them all with ease.
Ishida lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Ishida looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Ishida tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Yagame's elbow.
Yagame pushes Ishida back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ishida fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yagame lands a nice shot to the body.
Ishida tries to clinch up
and Yagame counters with a left to the body.

Yagame throws a leg kick which misses Ishida's front leg but catches the back leg as Ishida tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Yagame feints and then cracks Ishida's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ishida down.
A chopping leg kick lands by Yagame.
Yagame turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ishida closes the distance but Yagame moves to the side
and Yagame counters with a big head kick but Ishida shrugs it off.
Ishida is rocked!
Yagame is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Ishida is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Light Yagame!
