Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper throws a head kick that misses.
Cooper stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Luca.
Cooper throws a lazy head kick
and Luca counters with a stiff right hand.
Some bone on bone action there as Luca checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Luca lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Luca darts in trying to clinch
and Cooper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cooper throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Cooper lands a lovely overhand right.
Cooper ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cooper thinks about countering with a body kick.

Luca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cooper tried to counter with a leg kick but Luca avoided it.
Luca connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Luca doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Luca throws a lazy uppercut
and Cooper counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Luca throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Luca misses the shot to the body.
Luca throws the left hand but Cooper avoids the punch easily.
Cooper is looking for a counter combo.

Luca darts in and clinches Cooper up against the ropes.
Cooper swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Luca will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Cooper up against the ropes.

Luca pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cooper tries a head kick but it misses.
Cooper jabs Luca to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnny Luca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Luca looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cooper scores with a crisp jab that stopped Luca in his tracks.
Cooper swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Luca.
Cooper misses with a double jab.
Luca tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Cooper paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cooper throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Vincent Cooper will probably get the nod.

Luca takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cooper steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Luca.
And Cooper counters with a quick kick to the body but Luca blocks it.
Cooper throws a solid leg kick but Luca takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cooper.

Cooper throws a sloppy head kick and Luca moves out of range easily.
Luca misses with a series of wild punches.
Cooper lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Luca misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Luca stuns Cooper with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Luca throws a lazy head kick
and Cooper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cooper misses with a wild combination.
Luca swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Luca fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Cooper lands an overhand right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cooper moves out of range of the body kick.
Cooper checks a leg kick.
Cooper has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Luca finds it's way round the side to connect with Cooper's head.
Luca misses with a series of wild punches.
Cooper scores with a jab to the body.
Luca has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Luca there as he acknowledges the shot.

A close second round but Johnny Luca will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Cooper's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Cooper connects with a crisp jab.
Luca misses with a few strikes there.
Luca takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Luca displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cooper throws out the jab.
Luca is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cooper.
A little feinted left hand from Cooper on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Cooper throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Cooper staying out of range there.

Luca looks low and kicks high, catching Cooper right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
