Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lane Burch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Medzy KitaKul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Medzy KitaKul is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lane Burch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Medzy KitaKul!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Burch darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
KitaKul is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Burch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
KitaKul missing with punches from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
KitaKul throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if KitaKul can do anything to dispel that myth.
Burch trying to control the action but KitaKul is working from the bottom.
Burch throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Burch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Burch is looking to take a break and control but KitaKul is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

KitaKul flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Burch in particular looking to stall.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Burch closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

KitaKul turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Burch explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Burch closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. KitaKul quickly recovers to half guard.
KitaKul looks winded!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
KitaKul is looking to improve his position.
KitaKul is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.
Burch not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
KitaKul misses with some strikes from the bottom.
KitaKul is refusing to be controlled, as Burch sits in half guard.
KitaKul tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
KitaKul missing with punches from the bottom.
Burch blocks the strikes from KitaKul.
Burch looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

KitaKul throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Burch performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
KitaKul is not content to let Burch control the position.
Burch controlling the action here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Burch dives in and scores a takedown into KitaKul's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Burch trying to control but KitaKul is working from the bottom.
KitaKul is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lane Burch dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Burch fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. KitaKul sprawls well initially but Burch persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

KitaKul tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Burch in particular looking to stall.
Lane Burch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

KitaKul is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Burch's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Burch's back!
KitaKul punishes Burch with strikes from the back mount.
KitaKul looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Burch is taking damage to the body and head.


Burch is rocked!
KitaKul connects with a couple of big shots that have Burch covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Burch! KitaKul fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Medzy KitaKul!
Post fight, Medzy KitaKul stared into the camera and said 'fuck you bitch'.
