Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roscoe Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jezza Clarko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins connects with a leg kick. Clarko looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Clarko takes one to the side of the head.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jenkins.
Jenkins throws a lazy right hand but Clarko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Clarko drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jenkins defends it well.
Jenkins loads up on a big right hand but Clarko slips the punch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jenkins, right into the meat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenkins takes a swing at Clarko's ribcage but misses.

so Clarko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Clarko postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jenkins looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
A low kick from Jenkins is predictable there

and Clarko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jenkins won't be happy with that.

Clarko wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jenkins, who protects the arm well.

Jenkins wants to get back to his feet but Clarko drags him back down.
Clarko wants to control but Jenkins is keeping him busy.
Jenkins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clarko on the ground.

Clarko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jenkins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Clarko taking a break here but Jenkins is having none of it and regains half guard.

Clarko is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Clarko is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Clarko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Roscoe Jenkins will probably get the nod.
That's time! Jenkins's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jenkins throws a front kick aimed at Clarko's knee but Clarko avoids it well.
Clarko drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jenkins defends it well.
Jenkins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Clarko's calf.

Jenkins catches Clarko with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Clarko feints the counter takedown.
Jenkins fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Clarko.
Jenkins lands a leg kick that knocks Clarko off balance momentarily.
Jenkins looks to land a body kick but Clarko moved away.
Clarko drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jenkins defends it well.
Jenkins wants to slow Clarko down by chopping away at his legs.
Clarko tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Jenkins connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Clarko crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jenkins - the referee stops the clock and Clarko gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jenkins. Clarko manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Clarko's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Jenkins throws a head kick that Clarko semi-blocks.

Clarko is rocked!
Jenkins and Clarko are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Jenkins throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Clarko into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Jenkins knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
