And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Iron Sleeper!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nice takedown defense from Sleeper. No joy for Carson on that attempt.

Carson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Carson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sleeper changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Carson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sleeper on his heels. He'll look to pass Sleeper's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Carson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Carson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sleeper with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sleeper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sleeper is trying to stand back up but Carson is controlling him
Carson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Sleeper has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Carson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Carson wants to stand but Sleeper is controlling the position.

Sleeper wants to control from the top but Carson keeps moving.
Carson wants to get back to his feet but Sleeper is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Sleeper lands a couple of elbows.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sleeper's corner. There ya go! There ya go!


Carson is rocked!
Sleeper loads up on a big left hand. Carson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Sleeper looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Carson can't hide his disappointment, as Sleeper celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iron Sleeper!
