Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viveha Mithran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Viveha Mithran enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mithran shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mithran showed some decent athleticism there.
Mithran perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Terrell is refusing to be controlled, as Mithran sits in half guard.
Mithran wants to free his trapped foot but Terrell is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Terrell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mithran manages to get back to half guard.
Mithran is trying to get back to full guard.

Mithran has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Terrell is on him like a limpet, forcing Mithran back against the cage.
Terrell tries to pull guard but Mithran holds him up against the cage and eventually Terrell drops back down to his feet.

Mithran pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mithran moves into the clinch.

Mithran ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mithran no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Terrell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mithran has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Terrell has managed to get both his arms back between Mithran's legs - danger averted.

Terrell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Terrell stuffs the takedown attempt from Mithran. Mithran gets slowly back to his feet.
Freddy Terrell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Terrell shoots for a double leg takedown but Mithran sprawls well. He's pushed Terrell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Mithran. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Mithran is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mithran closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Terrell's guard.
Mithran looking to sit in guard and control but Terrell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Terrell stands up over Mithran, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mithran is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Mithran has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
