Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Armando Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgy Brah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into the arena with America Fuck Yeah blaring out of the sound system. Brah has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armando Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edgy Brah!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brah connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Gracie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brah connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've been informed that Brah has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Brah works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Brah, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armando Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brah lands with a hook. Gracie tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brah tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brah to the ground. Brah escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie dives in and grabs Brah's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brah pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brah, as that shot connected.

The fighters circle momentarily. Brah darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gracie there as he acknowledges the shot.

Gracie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Brah lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Brah buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Brah throws a series of strikes that have Gracie backpedaling.
Brah has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Brah sprawls well.
Brah is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gracie had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Brah scores with a sloppy right hand. Gracie should have avoided that one.
Brah lands a nice shot that snaps Gracie's head back.

Gracie looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Armando Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Brah tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brah manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Edgy Brah is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Brah counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gracie's knee momentarily.
Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brah to score with a decent uppercut.
Gracie takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Brah fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Brah counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gracie dives in and grabs Brah's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brah pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Brah's corner calls for a 1-2. Brah obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Brah lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts.
A punch lands to the side of Gracie 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Gracie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Gracie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brah, who protects the arm well.
Brah is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gracie is controlling him well.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brah knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Brah's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Edgy Brah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Edgy Brah comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Brah winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
