Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hoo Man Assad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Lucchese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assad tries to close the distance and clinch but Lucchese swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lucchese feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Let's hope that Lucchese has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Lucchese looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Assad with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lucchese lands a big elbow - Assad is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Lucchese!
