The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caiman throws a shot to the body.
McGregor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Caiman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Caiman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McGregor is fending him off so far but Caiman persists. Nope, McGregor circles away and we're back to standing.
Caiman throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and McGregor counters with a stiff right hand.
Caiman wants to clinch but McGregor slips to the side
enabling McGregor to counter with a crisp jab.
Caiman avoids the head kick by McGregor.
Caiman seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
McGregor drops his hands momentarily and Caiman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Caiman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Caiman duly obliges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGregor misses with a series of wild punches.
Caiman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McGregor sprawls well. McGregor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Caiman gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldo Caiman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Caiman is working an open guard so McGregor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
McGregor lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Caiman out cold! Caiman is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
