The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerr is looking to clinch but Baumann is avoiding it.
Baumann circles away from the clinch attempt.
Baumann dips to his left and cracks Kerr with an uppercut!
Kerr tries for a takedown but Baumann sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A quick step to the side and Baumann tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Baumann throws a series of punches but Kerr moves out of range.

Kerr tries to keep at a distance but Baumann has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kerr lands an elbow inside that Baumann shrugs off.

I was talking to Baumann's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Baumann decides to pull guard.

Kerr is sitting in close to Baumann's body. Baumann has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kerr is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kerr is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Baumann.
