Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mantak Cebu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marky Mark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark has chosen Taylor Swift - Shake It Off as his entrance music. Marky Mark has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mantak Cebu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marky Mark!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cebu looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Mark looks to throw the jab but Cebu is out of range.
Mark has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mark swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mark blocks a leg kick.
Mark misses with a looping right.
Cebu throwing a counter right hand but Mark manages to avoid it.
Cebu throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mark rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cebu counters with a solid body kick.
Cebu defending well as Mark loads up on a big left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mark feints and as Cebu raises his hands in defense, Mark changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Cebu working a defensive guard but Mark passes into half guard.

Mark slows the pace down in half guard.
Cebu trying to control here.
Mark passes to full mount!
Cebu is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Cebu tries to control the position but Mark now has his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mark biding his time, looking for the opening.
Let's hope that Mark has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Cebu is in bad spot here.

Cebu trying to control the hands but Mark won't let him.
Mark keeps control of the position easily here as Cebu tries to buck him off.
I really don't envy Cebu right now.
Mark avoiding Cebu 's attempts to control his hands.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
I would not like to be Cebu right now.
Mark's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Mark controlling well, preventing Cebu from escaping the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marky Mark dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Mark throws out a loose jab but Cebu uses good head movement to avoid it.
A jab from Cebu misses.
Mark works the jab nicely.
Cebu cracks the inside of Mark's front leg.
Cebu pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mark is out of range and Cebu settles back down.
Cebu takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cebu tries a low kick but Mark avoids it.
A countering left hand to the body from Mark misses.
Cebu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cebu attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Mark looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Cebu swings for the body but Mark moves out of range.
Mark throws out a counter right but Cebu avoids it with no problem.
Cebu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Cebu just misses with a punch to the body.
Marky Mark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mark scores with a takedown into Cebu's guard.

Cebu isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mark stacks Cebu on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mark!
Cebu tries to bench press Mark off him but Mark keeps the position.

Cebu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cebu tries to get out of the position.
Mark has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Cebu!

Mark controlling the pace for now.
Cebu is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mark controlling from the full mount.
Cebu tries to reverse the position but Mark maintains control.

Mark content just to control the position here.
Cebu is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Mark looking to control and managing it successfully.
Cebu wants to hold on but Mark pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mark moves to take his opponent's back.
I really don't envy Cebu right now.
Mark controlling the position well here. Cebu rolled but Mark kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marky Mark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Cebu throws a right hand that misses
and Mark counters with a stiff right hand.
Mark uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cebu.
Mark throws a body punch but Cebu moves out of range.
Cebu takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cebu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
As Mark backs away, Cebu returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Mark blocks a low kick nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mark! But no joy.
Marky Mark seems to be getting the better of the standup.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cebu throws a right and a left that Mark avoids nicely.
Mark connects with a jab.

Cebu gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.


Cebu is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mark pushes down on Cebu's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Cebu is trying to maintain the position but Mark is very close to passing his half guard.
Cebu is looking to improve his position.
Mark controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mark moves into full mount! Cebu won't be happy about that!
Mark has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Cebu stops Mark from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Mark controlling from mount.
More stalling from Mark.

Cebu is looking to improve his position but Mark isn't that keen on the idea.
Mark moves to take his opponent's back.
I would not like to be Cebu right now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cebu looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Mark is riding his opponent, not letting Cebu buck him off.

Marky Mark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mark has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
