PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simon Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmond Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jensen comes into the arena with On Top of the World blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore misses with a takedown

and Jensen moves into the clinch.
Moore is trying to pull guard but Jensen has him pressed against the cage.

Moore felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jensen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Moore for as long as he can get away with.

Moore fails with the takedown.
Jensen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Jensen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Moore on his heels. He'll look to pass Moore's guard now, I'm sure.

Moore escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jensen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Simon Jensen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Jensen has the hooks in. Moore is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
