The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dassler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Carter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Dassler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Dassler drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dassler jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dassler drops back looking for a leg! Carter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carter manages to kick Dassler off! Dassler jumps back into Carter's guard.

Carter managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dassler.
Dassler has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Carter!
Carter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Carter wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
