Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver throws a series of punches but Black avoids them all with ease.
Silver falls off balance throwing a combination
and Black finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Silver moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Black lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Silver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Black throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Silver throws a combination that misses
and Black counters with a nice body kick.
Silver looks winded!
Black comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Black closes the distance and pushes Silver back into the ropes.

Silver is trying to break the clinch but Black has him pressed against the ropes.

Silver can't find room to land a body shot as Black controls the action.

Silver breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Silver throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Black throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silver's head.
Silver tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Black manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Black takes a swing at Silver's ribcage but misses.
Black lands a nice looking kick to the body. Silver takes a step back to recover.

Silver lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Black circles away quickly and effectively.
It appears Black was looking to counter with a kick there.
Silver fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Black wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Black slips a straight right by Silver.

and Black counters with a nice uppercut.
Black avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Black connects with a leg kick. Silver looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Black throws a nice inside leg kick.

Silver looks to land a right hand but Black moved out of range.

Black cracks Silver with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Silver is rocked!
Jason Black is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Black circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Silver drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Black follows Silver to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Jason Black thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
