Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmund Dorrance Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fisher comes to the cage accompanied by Wasiu - Bout 02 Blow. Edmund Dorrance Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Edmund Dorrance Jr!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorrance Jr throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fisher connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fisher rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dorrance Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like Nathan Fisher has been cut.
Fisher tried to score with a low kick but Dorrance Jr checks it.

Fisher tries to counter with a takedown but Dorrance Jr is quick to defend against it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fisher throws a body punch but Dorrance Jr moves out of range.

Fisher with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dorrance Jr to score with a decent uppercut.
Dorrance Jr throws a low kick, looking for Fisher's leg but Fisher calmly moves out of range.
Dorrance Jr avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dorrance Jr looks for the body kick but Fisher saw that one coming.

My spies in Lucky Liam's MMA Academy inform me that Dorrance Jr has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fisher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dorrance Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fisher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dorrance Jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fisher.

Fisher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Fisher.
Fisher is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dorrance Jr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fisher loads up on a big right hand but Dorrance Jr slips the punch.

Fisher takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Dorrance Jr is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Fisher rather than just go for the knockout.

Edmund Dorrance Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dorrance Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fisher was well out of range. Poor timing from Dorrance Jr.

Dorrance Jr cracks Fisher with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Dorrance Jr finds Fisher's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Fisher flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Dorrance Jr lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Fisher will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edmund Dorrance Jr!
