PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Hampton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Power might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Easy Rider. Max Power has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fred Hampton!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power misses with a looping left.
Hampton throws a body punch but Power moves out of range.
Power throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Fred Hampton has been cut.
Hampton misses with a wild body shot.

Power feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hampton sprawling to the canvas! Hampton rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Power finish him?!

Hampton is rocked!
Power scoring well with a low kick there.
Hampton is still on wobbly legs! Can Power finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Power chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Power cracks Hampton with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hampton tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Power pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hampton is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Power!
After winning the bout, Max Power thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
