Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cobweb Cooter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fitz Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cooter's entrance music is Porch Honky. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cobweb Cooter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Fitz Hall!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cooter is out of range and Hall settles back down.
Hall lands a nice shot to the body.
Hall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cooter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hall.
Cooter swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Hall to counter with a crisp jab.
Hall throws a right hand that Cooter ducks under and follows up with a left that Cooter also avoids with ease.
Cooter throws out a loose jab but Hall uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cooter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooter.
Cooter misses with a body shot.
Cooter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hall was well out of range. Poor timing from Cooter.
Cooter fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Cooter is looking to wear down Hall with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Hall takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hall's coach down at Tycoon Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hall's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Cobweb Cooter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cooter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hall! But no joy.
Hall looks for the body kick but Cooter saw that one coming.
Hall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cooter.

and Hall makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Cooter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Hall avoids the body shot from Cooter.
Cooter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hall darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Hall counters with a left to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cooter. Hall does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hall throws a front kick aimed at Cooter's knee but Cooter avoids it well.
Hall throws out a loose jab but Cooter uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cooter scores with a sloppy right hand. Hall should have avoided that one.


It looks like Fitz Hall has been cut.
Hall is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

As Cooter backs off Hall throws a huge counter combo but Cooter manages to avoid it all.

and Hall counters with a nice uppercut.

Hall ducks right into an uppercut from Cooter.

Cooter throws a body punch but Hall moves out of range.
Cooter swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Cooter throws a looping overhand right but Hall ducks down to avoid it.
Hall doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Cooter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Cooter was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Hall counters with a three punch combo that has Cooter backing up. Cooter nods at Hall to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cooter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hall's head backwards.

Hall uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cooter.
Cooter looks to score with a jab to the body but Hall is just out of range.
Hall was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Cooter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hall misses with a wild combination.
Hall loads up on a big right hand but Cooter slips the punch.
Cooter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hall moves away.
A punch combination from Cooter misses.
Cooter misses the shot to the body.
Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooter.
Cooter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cooter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hall sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cooter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Hall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cooter has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Hall is rocked!
Hall drops his hands for a split second and Cooter immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Hall face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Cooter follows up with a right hand that knocks Hall into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Cobweb Cooter!
A very excited looking Cobweb Cooter made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
