The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barathian takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Davis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Davis throws a head kick that misses.
A low kick from Davis is predictable there
enabling Barathian to counter with a crisp jab.
Davis throws a shot from downtown. Barathian moves away and avoids it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Davis.
Barathian throws a nice looking combination but Davis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Davis misses with a looping left.

Barathian takes the fight into the clinch.
Davis can't find room to land a body shot as Barathian controls the action.
Davis misses with a hook to the ribs.
Barathian lands a right hand that snaps the head of Davis backwards.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Barathian avoids a wild elbow strike from Davis.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Davis.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Davis takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Davis throws a sloppy head kick and Barathian moves out of range easily.
A slow jab from Barathian misses its intended target.
Davis lands with a slapping head kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Davis.
Davis throws the left hand but Barathian avoids the punch easily.
Barathian swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A punch combination from Barathian misses.
A little jabbing left from Davis on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Barathian moves out of range of the leg kick from Davis.
Davis tries to work over Barathian's front leg with a kick but Barathian checks it.
Barathian looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Davis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Barathian's head backwards.
Davis digs a good hook to Barathian's body.
Barathian throws a right hand that Davis ducks under and follows up with a left that Davis also avoids with ease.
Davis scoring well with a low kick there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barathian gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Corey Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Barathian misses its intended target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Barathian takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Davis misses with an uppercut. Barathian saw that one coming.
Davis steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Barathian. That one must have hurt.
Davis scores with a hook.
Barathian checks the leg kick.
Davis moves into range and connects with a jab.
Barathian dips to his left and cracks Davis with an uppercut!
Barathian takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Barathian is rocked!
Barathian walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Barathian limp body while Davis jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
