Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Holm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Kozlov!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov missing with a left hand there. Holm was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
An attempted straight right counter from Holm misses the target.
Holm uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kozlov.
A little feinted left hand from Holm on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kozlov's coach down at Russian Bears Elite Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kozlov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kozlov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Holm counters with a stiff right hand.
Kozlov jabs Holm right on the nose. Holm blinks but takes it well.
Kozlov misses with a left hand
and Holm counters with a straight right hand.
Kozlov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kozlov throws a series of strikes that have Holm backpedaling.

It looks like Martin Holm has been cut.
Kozlov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Holm under the eye.
A clash of legs there as Holm blocks the low kick.
It looked like Holm was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kozlov.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kozlov throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Holm colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Kozlov as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Holm is left battered and dazed whilst Kozlov and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Kozlov!
Ivan Kozlov took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
