Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Owen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Owen flicks out a counter leg kick but Jones steps away.
Donnie Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jones backing away here, and Owen unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Owen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Owen lands with a right hand.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jones lands a jab to the head.
Jones lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Owen has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Owen swings widly with a right hand
and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Owen tries a head kick but it misses.
Owen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones closes the distance but Owen moves to the side
and Owen counters with a nice body shot.
Jones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like James Owen has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Owen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Owen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Owen throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side.

Nice body punch from Jones.

Jones lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Owen - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Jones!
