Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shayne Corson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bone's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, You'll Never Walk Alone. Joe Bone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bone swings around for an armbar but Corson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bone's guard.
My spies in LOD: Contenders (Max ID290) inform me that Corson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Bone will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bone lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Corson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Corson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Shayne Corson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
