Nurmagomedov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dagestan, by Sabine Kors feat. Timaro. Zodd is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Motorhead - Ace of spades. Fedor Nurmagomedov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zodd connects with the punch.
Zodd connects with a single shot there.
Nurmagomedov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Zodd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nurmagomedov moves away.
Nurmagomedov darts in looking for a takedown but Zodd gets double underhooks and turns Nurmagomedov into the cage.
Zodd throws a head kick that misses

and Nurmagomedov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zodd won't be happy with that.

Zodd bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick from Zodd lands but Nurmagomedov takes it in his stride.

It looks like Fedor Nurmagomedov has been cut.
The fighters circling - Zodd throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nurmagomedov changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Zodd lands a brutal head kick. Nurmagomedov looks out on his feet and Zodd throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Nosferatu Zodd!
During a confident post fight interview, Nosferatu Zodd thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Fedor Nurmagomedov was interviewed post fight and said 'Spasibo...thank you, Nosferatu...he bring good fight. I train harder for next time. '.
