The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Williams gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Medzy counters with a shoot takedown. Williams fights it but they end up in guard.
Medzy advances position into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams tries to buck Medzy off but Medzy is having none of it.
Medzy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Medzy has hold of Williams's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Williams tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Medzy cranks the arm and Williams screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Williams, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
