The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Washington connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lock misses with a wild combination.
Washington looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
A low kick from Lock misses
and Washington counters with a good, hard body kick but Lock shrugs it off.
Lock tries to clinch up but Washington circles away and keeps his distance.
Washington shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Some wild striking there from Lock.

Lock does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

It looked like Washington was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Lock has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Washington.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Washington counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Lock looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lock lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Washington has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Washington and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A little feinted left hand from Washington on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A slapping body kick lands there for Washington.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
